It is Dr. Rogers' philosophy that:

  • Any program designed to create personal wellness must teach strategies for recognizing the symptoms of stress, recognizing the physical, cognitive and emotional symptoms of distress, & teach strategies for reducing or eliminating those symptoms and living a life of joy!

Dr. Rogers is the founder of the Sound for Healing Institute, and is one of the first psychologists to develop a program for treating the cognitive and emotional symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and many other disorders using the newest research in guided visualization, vibroacoustic technology and binaural sound frequencies. She has worked extensively with the founder of Biopulsonics, who developed the sound technology she uses in her work.

Research & Mentoring:

Dr. Rogers has offered trainings in personal wellness and stress management, and has published the findings of her work in well respected peer reviewed professional journals. One of those studies can be found in  Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice, Volume 13, pgs. 95-101. It is this research that has become the foundation of The Artfully Lived Life: Creating Health, Wellness & Peace by Optimizing the Power of your Brain Program. Dr. Rogers and her husband, Dr. Kim Rogers are currently involved in several studies regarding how these strategies might be helpful to couples, & families, as well as those who are suffering from chronic pain.  They hope to publish these results by early 2009
Dr. Rogers has mentored several pre-doctoral and post-doctoral students in her highly specialized meditation and guided visualization strategies.

Dr. Rogers has also benefited from the expertise and training of one of the best transformational leadership coaches in the world, Jack Canfield, the creator and co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and the author of The Success Principles. It is through this powerful training that she was inspired to begin offering workshops and trainings designed to empower others to discover their own inherent potential for personal growth, transformation, and wellness.
